Letter 1944.10 – 07 March

Henri (650 Gen Tpt Coy) to Yvette.

650 Gen Tpt Coy

7 March

Happy, happy, received two letters from you, which are at last not so sad.. Your distress was mine; your depression mine. Etc etc

“Everything else ceased to exist and the world was filled with one thing only: Yvette’s unhappiness.”  Everything begins to work out. I am very happy. I love you etc etc.. You say you work in the morning. What is your work? You must change your name on the passport. Why? You’re not losing your French passport? Hang on to it! Think of it a little. La belle France of before and that of after, that will come.”  I haven’t the patience to write to anyone but you.
