Letter 1947.9 – 23 May

Yvette to Henri.

25 Mai Belmont

Darling,

Only a few words…I leave this evening for Paris… I always rejoice to see Paris again. I spent some days there in winter with nothing special to do or see but Paris itself is a sight that never wearies me. And it’s with a kid’s joy that I pack my suitcase. If you write (?) keep writing here for the letters will follow me…Tell me, darling, what about coming to make a tour of Paris? Au revoir, my darling. Write I beg you. And take your courage for two months. Come! Je t’embrasse.

Your Yvette.
