Yvette to Henri.
20 Mai 1947 Belmont
Long silences, disturb me. I no longer know what to say to you. For I can find only two reasons and don’t want to struggle against them. Either you can’t write, and certainly it’s not my wish to break the censorship, or you don’t want to…. But since you don’t ask me to stop, I will go on follow my heart and write to you, again and again…. Henri, don’t you want to come to France, tell me, don’t you want to come?
I embrace you.
Your Yvette.
